Confirm the Archeologist header in the sandy district

Look for sand-colored streets, fossils and expedition decorations, then check the Archeologist area header. The Steal From The Rich Archeologist district also has a matching Item Index category. Open it to see the collection associated with this area.

Learn the approach and the direction home before taking a crate. Check the current interface for entry requirements, and read each treasure after opening it. The area’s name alone cannot tell you the Speed you need, its complete drop pool or the income from your next crate.

Use fossils as orientation cues

This district has a different look from Jeweler’s pale gray street. Sandy terrain and expedition props help you recognize the transition into Archeologist. Use those features to find your position rather than relying on how far you have traveled.

Choose a fossil or decoration that is easy to see on the approach. Turn around and check it from the target side too. A useful landmark helps you find the way back; it needs to be recognizable from more than one camera angle.

Use these features for navigation. They do not promise protection from an NPC chase or tell you that a particular path is a faster shortcut.

Check the matching collection in the Index

Open Item Index and look for its Archeologist category. Entries include Carved Relic Slab and Ancient Painted Vase. You can inspect that collection before visiting the district to get familiar with its theme.

A September 24 example showed category progress of 2/8. That was one player’s progress, so check your own menu instead of expecting the same count. Read which entries you have unlocked and which rewards are ready to claim.

An Index entry does not guarantee what you will get from a particular crate. The Item Index guide explains the progress and claim controls. Use the category for those tasks rather than as a complete drop-probability table.

Prepare the return with a clear camera view

Before taking a crate, check where the sandy approach joins the route you already know. Identify the NPC target through its interaction prompt and choose the landmark you will follow when returning.

If the previous district is still unfamiliar, revisit the Jeweler guide and compare the terrain transitions. Recognizing those transitions helps you navigate, but a route through the districts does not establish a fixed unlock order.

Train if your next attempt needs more Speed. Learn the route as a separate task instead of assigning it a guessed numerical threshold. Copying another player’s Speed counter will not guarantee that you can repeat their successful return.

Review the treasure after opening

Back at your base, place the crate and follow its appraisal state until it is ready to open. Read the revealed treasure’s own label before deciding where to put it in your display.

The crate rarities guide explains the separate fields for crate class, item rarity, quality and income. Compare your treasure’s current fields, then check Index for a newly available reward. An Archeologist theme does not give every treasure you find the same permanent income rate.

FAQ

How do I identify the Archeologist area?

Check the Archeologist header on the sand-colored street with fossils and expedition decorations.

Is Archeologist also an Item Index category?

Yes. Look for that category and entries including Carved Relic Slab and Ancient Painted Vase.

Does the Index guarantee an item from my next crate?

Use it to check your collection progress. An entry is not a promise that the next crate will contain that item.

What Speed unlocks this area?

Check the current interface for its requirements and prepare your return route. Do not treat a guessed Speed number as the area’s unlock threshold.

Do fossil props mark a safe escape path?

Use them as recognizable landmarks. Do not count on a fossil decoration to protect you or guarantee an escape.
