Wait for READY, then open the placed crate
Bring the crate to your own plot, place it and read its appraisal countdown. Use the opening prompt after the crate shows READY. Then place the revealed treasure so you can read its income label as part of your base display.
Opening a crate involves two separate objects: the crate you delivered and the treasure you receive from it. If you are still carrying the crate, finish placement first. If you are holding the revealed item, you have already passed the opening step and should look for a place on your plot.
Read the crate’s current state
An APPRAISER stands beside placed crates during appraisal. The countdown tells you that this crate is still waiting; its visible class label does not mean the treasure inside has already been added to your collection.
Use the time displayed on the particular crate you brought home. Avoid assigning every crate the duration you saw on an earlier run. Your practical decision is whether this one is still counting down or ready for its opening interaction.

While a timer runs, use the time for another task at home, such as training or checking collection rewards. Keep track of which crate you are waiting for instead of standing beside a different one and expecting its timer to match.
Keep appraisal controls separate from opening
The Appraise Crates sidebar contains an Appraise All control and individual crate entries with their remaining time. Use that panel to understand the appraisal queue. Read the current action text and any confirmation before using a control. Do not assume Appraise All means you can open every crate instantly for free.
When the crate itself reaches READY, look for Open Crate. Desktop gameplay shows an E prompt for that action. Follow the prompt on your current device, and keep the appraisal panel distinct from the physical crate’s opening interaction.

Display and inspect the treasure
After opening, place the revealed item on your own plot. If the game says you can only place it on your plot, check where you are standing and which base you have entered. An opening interaction and a placement interaction are different steps.
Read the treasure’s own name, rarity, income and condition fields. Compare its displayed income with the items you already have equipped. A crate label is not a substitute for reading the actual treasure that came out; the rarity guide explains those separate fields.
If the plot is full, inspect My Items, Equip Best and the Upgrade Plot sign rather than repeating the opening action. Use base upgrades for capacity decisions. Once the treasure is displayed, return to your next training or theft task with the appraisal stage complete.
